Assassin’s Creed Unity explores late 18th century France and allows you to see a much younger Notre Dame along with other notable monuments. In a statement made by the company, they wanted everyone to be able to experience the beauty that is Notre Dame. 
Not only have they donated €500,000 to help the restoration but they are also allowing everyone to download Assassin’s Creed Unity for free from now until April 25, 2019, at 3 am (your local time). Ubisoft, a video game publishing company based in France and also the creators of the Assassin’s Creedseries have stepped forward to help as well. Many have already stepped forward to share their emotional and financial support. It burned for 12 hours and caused such a massive amount of damage that restoration costs are in the billions. Only a few short days ago on April 15th, a fire blazed through the 856 year old cathedral Notre Dame in Paris, France.
